Lodge House is our newest boarding house, created specifically for senior students in Years 11, 12 and 13. Just a five-minute walk from the main College campus, its location offers easy access to school while encouraging a greater sense of independence. The house is also just a short walk from the beach, reached via a scenic clifftop path – perfect for fresh air and quiet reflection.
Lodge accommodates 34 students in a co-educational setting. Rooms are a mix of single, double and triple occupancy, with most offering private bathrooms. Every student area includes practical, modern features such as USB charging points and electric light sensors, designed to make daily life more convenient and efficient.
At the heart of Lodge is a large communal lounge where students can relax together, enjoy board games, or watch Sky TV. While all main meals are taken at College with the wider boarding community, Lodge includes a fully equipped kitchen, stocked weekly with snacks chosen by the students themselves. This gives them a small sense of autonomy and helps them feel at home.
Two experienced House Parents live at Lodge full-time, providing 24/7 support and pastoral care. They are always on hand – whether it’s for academic guidance, personal advice, or simply to offer a listening ear. The well-being and development of every student is their priority.
