Email UsScarborough is an hour away from York by car and has a direct rail link to York as well. Hull and Middlesborough are within close proximity and London is three hours by train.
Road: Scarborough is easily accessible from the A64.
Air: Humberside airport and Leeds Bradford airport are both 1 hour 40 minutes away by car and Manchester airport is 2 hours 20 minutes, making them all within easy reach.
Sea: The ferry terminal in Hull is approximately one and a half hours drive away. (sailings from Rotterdam and Zeebrugge)
Rail: Regular trains run from London and Edinburgh, change at York for Scarborough. Coast to coast lines run daily, calling at all major cities; Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, York and Scarborough. Scarborough College is approximately 5 minutes by taxi from the station.
For parents who bring their children to school by car, there are two car parks for parents to use whilst dropping off or picking up children. The Pre-School and Prep School car park can be accessed via the Deepdale entrance and, in addition to the designated parking spaces, there is a marked drop off area. Parents and visitors are asked to keep the disabled spaces free for those who need them and to ensure there is always clear access for minibuses and coaches to manoeuvre through the car park.
The Senior School car park is accessed via Filey Road and there are designated parking spaces as well as a drop off area. Please only drop off in these areas and ensure that vehicles remain occupied at busy times, so that vehicles can constantly move up and round the car park to avoid congestion and traffic problems out onto Filey Road.
