Qualifying students will be invited to the Assessment Day to be held on Wednesday 13 November 2024. Following a successful assessment, the Scarborough Scholar award holder will benefit from a day place at the College with fees reduced by up to a full 100%.

Aside from academia, many applicants will wish to demonstrate the positive input they could bring to the College in the fields of sport, music, drama and visual arts. Other supporting evidence may also be included, such as certificates and awards.

Taking our Assisted Places Scheme one step further, and in keeping with the school’s foundation, the Governors of the College have agreed to provide families from the Scarborough and surrounding areas with the opportunity to apply for their son or daughter to become what has been termed the Scarborough Scholar, with a fee reduction of up to a full 100%.
