The smallest of the four houses, Crews is home to 19 boys who are usually among the youngest boys in our boarding community and usually in Years 7 to 11. Like all the boarding houses, Crews is looked after by two houseparents who live in the boarding house. They are also assisted by four academic visiting tutors.
Crews has a lounge and a beautiful open-plan kitchen with views of both the athletics track and, beyond it, the North Sea. Behind the house is also a small grass area for a kick-about and a patio for evening barbecues. The bedrooms are mostly triples and doubles and there is one single room. All bathrooms are shared. In 2019 Crews was refurbished to its current modern specifications.
