As we bring another academic year to a close, we can reflect with great pride on what has been a truly outstanding year for sports at Scarborough College. Across more than 700 fixtures and over 100 teams, our pupils have represented the College with distinction, demonstrating exceptional commitment, resilience and sportsmanship.
The breadth and quality of our sporting programme continues to grow, with an increasing number of students earning county, national and international honours. Girls’ sports continue to thrive, highlighted by a historic milestone as Dani Meikle became the first female pupil to score a century for the College. Across a range of sports, our teams have consistently competed at the highest level, reaching national semi-finals and finals and establishing themselves amongst the top performing schools in the country. We have also expanded opportunities for participation, with more senior teams competing than ever before; notably, netball entered three teams into the evening league, with the Owls going on to be crowned champions.
