Born in Zimbabwe, Mr Rinke has always been passionate about the game; playing on a tennis court on his farm until he could represent his country. Mr Rinke represented Zimbabwe on 18 occasions and toured India and the West Indies. After international cricket, Mr Rinke played club cricket in England, including coaching and captaining Scarborough Cricket Club .
He returned to Zimbabwe from 2012 to 2019 to coach and play cricket. Mr Rinke is also Housemaster of Denys Crews House.
