Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions for any parent. I remember when my daughter joined Scarborough College and I was blown away by the friendliness and expertise of the admissions staff. It made a difficult and important decision so much easier.

Open Events

Discover the Sixth Form at Scarborough College at our next Open Event on Thursday 13 November. Tour our classrooms and facilities, meet inspiring teachers, and hear from pupils about the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. This is the best way to experience our community first-hand and see what makes Scarborough College unique.

If you are unable to attend an Open Event we would be very happy to arrange a personal visit at a time that suits your family. As part of the admissions process, your child may also be invited to join us for a taster day, helping them feel at home in our school community.

How to Apply

Your Visit

You might be interested in visiting one of our Open Days or, if you are unable to make that date, we will be able to arrange a quick visit during a school day. If you are unable to make it in person to Scarborough College, you can email our Registrars who will be able to work with you to organise an online chat with one of the team.

Your Application

After your visit or your initial online chat, you might feel that Scarborough College is the right school for you (or your child). In that case, you can make an application. For the application, we will require some additional information, such as school reports. Just use the same portal to upload any relevant documents or add notes for our Admissions Team.

Your Interview

When the correct documents are uploaded and the application is complete, we invite you (your son or daughter) to an interview with the Headmaster. This can be done online though we prefer in-person meetings. Following a successful interview – and subject to satisfactory completion of any scholarship or entrance papers – we offer a place at the College.

Sixth
Form

Though we are a non-selective school, we have some admissions criteria for Sixth Form entry. Please see the Admissions Policy for more information.

Senior
School

Subject to availability, we are able to offer places throughout the Senior School. International students can also choose the one-year GCSE programme in Year 11.
