START YOURThe College has a proud history of widening access through bursarial and financial support, through which we attempt to ensure that a family’s circumstances are not a barrier to opportunity.
Our vision is for every pupil to thrive at Scarborough College, benefitting from all of the experiences and opportunities the we have to offer, regardless of background or financial means.
Financial assistance is offered on a means-tested basis. We are able to provide a number of bursaries each year, open to both new applicants and current pupils. Awards may take the form of a reduction of up to 100% of tuition fees, depending on the financial, compassionate or other relevant circumstances of each family.

In addition to a number of named Scholarships, we have four different types of Scholarships available: Academic, All-Rounder, Performing Arts and Sports. Other Scholarships include the Alderson Scholarship and Peggy-Baily Scholarship for students who continue from Year 11 into Sixth Form and the Scarborough Scholar.
