As we are gradually returning back to normal, Mr Cashell has been working hard to re-ignite the Academic Houses and inter-house competitions. These culminated towards the end of last term with house competition, the Inter-House cross country, university challenge and music competitions.
In the Inter-House University Challenge tournament, Crews were victorious in the Junior competition and Armstrong took the spoils in the Senior round. The Crews Junior team consisted of Hugo Lewis (Y7), Cayton Deschayes-McCourt (Y8) and Lois Jacobs (Y9) and was captained by Sophia Ibbott-Cook (Y10). Amstrong, with team captain Ed Burnley (Y13), featured Jacob Taylor-Burks (Y11), Dasha Karmazin and Ksenia Mikushina (both Y12). Cooper House were worthy runners-up in both categories.

This Summer Term has some exciting plans in store for Inter House competitions so watch the space on Social Media and our House System page on our Website. In addition to our annual sports day, there are inter-house sports events such as cricket, rounders, tennis, badminton and volleyball. Modern Foreign Languages will host their MFL quiz and fans of the Queen’s Gambit can take part in the inter-house chess tournament.
