The people who work at Scarborough College all contribute to a unique and positive family atmosphere. Visitors to the College often comment on this atmospherem which we regard as synonymous with North Yorkshire.
The College is a thriving and bustling independent day and boarding school. No one day is the same and they tend to go beyond five o’clock. Teaching staff do more than teach alone. They support the boarding activities, they organise Enrichment Programme activities and much more. Within this environment, there is an opportunity to get to know pupils beyond the classroom. Join the Year 12’s on their Lyke Wake Walk adventure or become an Academic House Captain.
There are several non-teaching jobs at Scarborough College. Many members of staff work in the engine room to ensure the school keeps running. From members of the estates team to our hard-working cleaning team, are many roles behind the scenes.
