James Scott is spending two months of his summer holidays on an extreme work experience programme in Ghana. Having completed his IB Diploma this year, James is keen to continue with his studies which will eventually lead to a long and successful career in medicine.
Having completed and achieved the IB Diploma at Scarborough College, James has now decided to gain as much and as varied work experience in this field as possible, before starting at University. James is keeping a blog of his time away and we hope you enjoy sharing his experience through this and the photos which he is posting on his Facebook page.
James was also the first recipient of the OSA Travel Scholarship, for which he has received financial support from the OSA Alumni Association, towards his trip. We look forward to welcoming James back to school sometime next year when he will also give a presentation to his fellow students and staff about his experience, in the hope that it will inspire others to do similar, charitiable and potentially life and career enhancing experiences.
