The House Photography Competition is now in its third year and the theme for this round was Summer.
In a very competitive field, Platon Lomtev's photo was declared the winner by our resident judge (and Art teacher) Mr Sutcliffe. The composition and summery feel of the picture made it stand out from the rest. Emily Hazledine came in a strong second place with a picture that could be an advert for a summer picknick and Kelsey Atkinson caught a great summer's day at Whitby Abbey to come in third place. As all three students represent Armstrong House they were the obvious winners with Cooper coming in second due to a lovely picture of the Pinkney family dog and Hornby came third.
The next competition will run from Easter to the final week of the school year and we will be celebrating Spring in all its glory.
