Golf team are hitting hard on the course

ISGA Golf Scottish Open

On 26 September two teams from Scarborough College competed in the Independent Schools Golf Association (ISGA) Scottish Open at Kings Acre Golf Club, near Edinburgh.

Team A - Oliver Beckett, Tom Thornton and Bradley Marshall scored 148 (8 over par). The star of the show was team captain, Oliver Beckett, who scored a Net 69 (1 under par).  Team B - Marco Masucci, George Bell and Anna Zoerner scored 150 (10 over par)

On 28 September the team travelled to Worksop College to play in the ISGA Match-play Knockout.

Team A - Oliver Beckett, Marco Masucci and George Bell beat Worksop Team B by three matches to nil.  Oliver Beckett won on the last hole, Marco Masucci won 4 & 3 and George Bell won 5 & 4.  Team B - Tom Thornton, Kilian Rehfus and Anna Zoerner lost two matches to one to the Worksop Team A. The star being Anna Zoerner who came from four down to win on the last hole.

Team B now go into the Plate competition and the A Team now play either Ampleforth of Hymer's at home in the next round.
