On Wednesday 12 October, Year 1 and 2 visited Eureka Children's Museum in Halifax. The early start at the train station did not dampen the children's spirits and there was much excitement when our train arrived!
At Eureka, the children accessed the different galleries which included the Global Garden with some pretty scary spiders and Sound Space, where the children experimented with music.
Much fun was had shopping in Marks and Spencer, tinkering with the cars in the garage and cracking the codes to open the vault in the Halifax bank!
The highlight of the day was the All About Me gallery, where the children had a great time exploring the giant teeth, nose and tongue and learning about what happens to their food once they have swallowed it!
The children and staff had a great day out and plenty of Eureka moments!!!!
