Mrs Zoë Harrison is synonymous with Scarborough College. A Forces child whose father was a serving officer in the Royal Air Force, Zoë started boarding in 1978. In her final year at Scarborough College, Zoë was Senior Prefect, Head of College House and Captain of Girls’ Hockey. Before she managed to escape, Zoë was commandeered to join the OSA committee. Her son Henry joined the College in Year 3 and left in 2013. In the meantime, Zoë served fourteen years on the Board of Governors and started in the Marketing Department in 2012 where she is now the Marketing Manager.
When Zoë’s not in the office, you can find her on the hockey pitch or cycling across Yorkshire. Zoë has played hockey at Driffield Hockey Club, Scarborough Hockey Club and still represents Yorkshire and the North East in the Lady Master’s squad. In recent years she has taken up competing in triathlons and aquabike events. Her most recent conquest was the Castle Howard Triathlon in July 2022. Zoë is a keen gardener and prior to her work in the Marketing Department, she was a landscape garden designer. She is also very much involved in the family farming business with husband Patrick, son Henry and their extended family. Here Zoë manages the farm office and accounts and at home attempts to manage their three Hungarian Vizslas! Never a dull or quiet moment at work or at home.
