Parents and Tots

Our Parents and Tots sessions are run by Jackie Hunter, the Head of our Pre-School, every Tuesday morning during term time, from 9.30 – 11.30 a.m. in the Prep School Hall.

With a large, spacious indoor hall to play in, this is a lovely environment for children to play safely with our vast array of toys and equipment in a safe, secure and caring environment.  With a fully qualified and highly respected group leader, this gives both the children and the adults some fun time in a well organised and inspiring setting.

This is a great way for mums, dads and grandparents to meet new friends and for children to socialise with other tots.  This interaction and play time helps them to develop in so many ways plus they benefit from having weekly Fun Music Sessions with Kathy Seabrook, with age appropriate music time, which also helps to develop body confidence, musical awareness and early literacy skills.

Kathy is with us from October to Easter and these sessions are priced at only £5.00 per family, which includes play with a wonderful selection of toys, a biscuit and drink plus a 45 minute music session with Kathy.

Kathy Seabrook’s Fun Music at Scarborough College with Parents and Tots and in the Community at North Yorkshire Libraries

If you are a parent of a child under 5, living in Scarborough and the surrounding area, then you must have heard of Kathy Seabrook?  If not, let us introduce her to you.

Kathy is a talented musician who has a wonderful nature with children and lately she has partnered up with Scarborough College to provide Fun Music sessions at our own Parents and Tots sessions every Tuesday, and in local community Libraries.

The local Library sessions are free to all children under 5 and their parents.  You don’t need to book in advance, but if you wish to indicate your intention to come to an individual Library then that will help them with planning the size of area needed for the session.
