Below are all the documents, handbooks and information that prospective and current parents and guardians should need in relation to our boarding pupils. If you are unable to find what you need please email our Boarding Administrator, Ms Kate Evans, or contact your son or daughter’s Housemaster/Housemistress. When coming to school at the beginning of a new school year you should aim to arrive between 11.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. If you know that you will be arriving outside these times you must let the Housemaster/Housemistress know well in advance so that special arrangements can be made.
At all other times, such as the beginning of term and the end of half-term breaks, you should aim to return to houses between 2.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. Boarding Houses will not normally be open before these times. Earlier arrival times should be arranged directly with your Housemaster/Housemistress or with the Boarding Administrator.
The Travel Booking forms, which are all listed below, must be completed by Parents / Guardians by the specified date for each term / half term form.
The Boarding Administrator will organise airport transfers for students who require travel by air. Transfers to Manchester International Airport are arranged for students and details will be given directly to you.
Transport to and from the airport is included in the overseas boarding fee and this is provided free of charge for students who fly at set times at the start and end of each half term, and submit their transport requests at least three weeks before the end of each term / half term. Please contact the Boarding Administrator for further details.

Start of summer term – April 2025 – This should be completed by Wednesday 19 March 2025
After summer half term – May 2025 – This should be completed by Wednesday 14 May 2025

End of autumn term – December 2024 – This should be completed by Wednesday 4 December 2024
Start of spring half term – February 2025 – This should be completed by Wednesday 5 February 2025
