As part of an independent school, Little Owls is able to define its own curriculum. Even though we fully support the Department of Education’s Early Years programme, we supplement this in many unique ways.
Visit the Pre-SchoolThe Prep School educates children aged 3 to 11. From Reception to Year 3, the children are class-based with one teacher specifically trained for that age group. This means that Pupils have the majority of their lessons with their teacher in the mornings. In the afternoon a number of subject specialists teach art, French, music, ICT and games. Starting in Year 4, subject specialist teachers teach all subjects.

Years 7 to 9 are offered a varied programme that develops the academic mind as well as the adventurous spirit. In addition, regular sports and performing arts, as well as outdoor education feature heavily on the curriculum. Years 10 and 11 study the GCSESs and prepare pupils for Sixth Form.
