Mr David Sutcliffe has started at teacher of Business Studies and hockey coach in January 2023. Before his appointment in England, Mr Sutcliffe worked at Bridge House School in South Africa, where he had a number of roles. In addition to the Head of Business Studies, Mr Sutcliffe was Head of Boarding and 1st XI Hockey Coach. He also founded a hockey club during his nine years in South Africa. Currently playing in the Western Province Promotion League, Franschhoek Dragons Hockey Club (FDHC) has two men’s teams and one ladies’ team. Mr Sutcliffe represented the University of Bath 1st X1 as well as Team Bath Buccaneers. He has played hockey at both county and regional levels.
