A Week of Spectacular Performances

The stage was set, the lights were shining, and our talented students took to the spotlight to deliver an unforgettable production of Legally Blonde Jr from 6th to 8th February. The performances showcased the incredible talent, hard work, and dedication of everyone involved.

Leading the cast with confidence and charm was Year 11 student Kendall, who brought Elle Woods to life with her gutsy and inspiring portrayal. Alongside her, Year 10 students Zac and Ellie delivered standout performances as Emmett and Paulette, respectively. However, it was our Year 13 boys who truly stole the show, with their hilarious and charismatic guest roles as Dewey and Kyle.

This fantastic production would not have been possible without the expert guidance of drama consultant and director Mr. Alex Weatherhill. A special thank you also goes to Mrs. Golder for her incredible choreography and co-directing. The energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork on display was an absolute joy to watch.

Meanwhile, outside of school, 20 of our Prep School students showcased their dancing talents at the YMCA from 7th to 9th February in the Studio 3 Glitz and Glam dance showcase. From Little Owls to Year 6, students performed in a variety of dance numbers, demonstrating skill and passion regardless of their age group. Studio 3 runs dance classes at our Prep School, offering nursery, infant, and junior students the opportunity to develop their talents from an early age and it was a delight to watch their confidence grow on stage.

It has been an incredible half term for performing arts, with many more events on the calendar for the next few months. Make sure you watch your emails for more details.
